The new cyber security training package was developed by the NCSC specifically for schools. The package gives staff an awareness of the cyber security risks which schools face and practical information that will help you protect against these risks.

The training material, delivered through either a presentation pack or a self-learning video, makes use of real-life case studies to help schools understand cyber security incidents. It highlights the four key steps of good cyber hygiene that all staff can follow to help prevent a cyber incident from happening. These steps, which cover phishing, strong passwords, device security and calling out anything unusual or unexpected, can help staff to protect their school.
