Telephone systems

Talk Straight offer a number of different telephone systems. By offering a range of systems we're convinced we can find the right solution for your business. Our systems range from a single business user located in a home office, all the way up to 500 users including dedicated call centre functionality.

Talk Straight only offer IP based telephone systems as these have now superseded the old digital telephone systems. The two types of systems Talk Straight offer are on site telephone systems and a hosted telephone system.

An on site telephone system literally means 'a telephone system in a box' which is installed at your business premises. All your installed telephones connect to this. Your telephone system then connects to a different range of telephone lines which are also installed at your businesses premises. E.g PSTN, ISDN or SIP Trunking lines. This device is either managed by Talk Straight or by the customer depending on their experience.

A hosted telephone system is a telephone system where 'the box' lives in Talk Straights' data center. This 'box' is a lot more complex than a single device. Talk Straights' hosted telephone platform is based on 50 + servers as well as top of the range security and routing equipment to ensure it runs 100% of the time and is never offline. The customer rents space on Talk Straight's hosted telephone system. The customer can either buy or rent telephone equipment which connects to our hosted telephone system over either the Internet or a private link between your business premises and our data centre.

Talk Straight offer a range of high quality Cisco, Snom, Linksys and Nokia telephones to accompany our telephone systems.

There are a number of aspects to think about when deciding which type of telephone system your business should consider implementing. At Talk Straight we are experts in finding out exactly what you require and fitting a solution to your needs whether that's an onsite or a hosted telephone system.
